On April 29, 2006 Hammond’s Ferry - A Traditional Neighborhood Development hosted a cook-out for the public. Approximately 70 people attended this event. Backyard Burgers cooked out and provided hamburgers, hotdogs and all the fixings. Many of our current home buyers attended as well as other interested parties. The Hammond's Ferry Team provided information on our terrific neighborhood. The Hammond's Ferry development is within a five minute walk to the town center. Every home in Hammond's Ferry is situated one tenth of a mile from a park and/or playground. The North Augusta greenway runs approximately 1.5 miles around Hammond’s Ferry.
